About

I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at Clemson University in the Holcombe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. My doctoral research is conducted in the Intelligent Systems and Wireless Networking (IS-WiN) Laboratory under the guidance of Dr. Fatemeh Afghah, focusing on advanced machine learning, artificial intelligence, and wireless communications.

I am also completing my Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) in Electrical Engineering at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, expected to graduate in December 2025. During my master's studies, I have been affiliated with the Networking, Intelligence and Security (NIS) Laboratory, advised by Dr. Dinh C. Nguyen, where I conducted research on federated learning, quantum computing, and privacy-preserving systems.

I completed my B.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Daffodil International University in Dhaka under advisor Dr. Md. Taslim Arefin. Since then, I have been deeply involved in research spanning machine learning, artificial intelligence, privacy & security, and wireless communications.

Since 2015, I have been an active IEEE member, contributing to the Bangladesh Chapter and the IEEE Region 3, Huntsville Section. My role in IEEE has allowed me to bridge communities and enhance student engagement through numerous conferences and events across Bangladesh, India, and Nepal.

I am passionate about creating platforms for intellectual exchange, demonstrated by my role as Head Organizer of TEDxUA Huntsville 2025, and my leadership as President of the UAH Bangladeshi Student Association (2024-2026) and Secretary of the UAH Graduate Student Association (2024-2025). I also serve as a peer reviewer for top-tier journals including IEEE Internet of Things Journal and ACM Computing Surveys.

Research

Here is a collection of my research work. I am broadly interested in topics related to federated learning, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, privacy & security, and wireless communications. Currently, I am particularly excited about techniques to scale quantum federated learning and unlocking new abilities in secure distributed systems.
